THE STORY AS REMEMBERED BY THE SIBLINGS
The Brawer / Braver family lived in ul. Gesia, Warszawa, together with the maternal grandparents , Mr. and Mrs. Eisenberg ( Ajzenberg?).
The siblings think the family may have come from some other place in Poland, as they have no memory of any extended family.
The family sometimes got parcels with used clothes from America, from relatives there.
The father was persecuted. He might have been a communist.
Perhaps he was drafted into the Polish army. In any case, he disappeared early in the war.
When the mother and her three children (Abram b.1932, Kalman—b. 1934 and Sara—b. 1936) fled to the USSR, probably in September 1939, the grandparents stayed in the apartment in Warsaw.
The mother and the three children were first in Vitebsk, now Belarus.
According to the son Kalman, the mother died in Andizan in Uzbekistan in 1943, and the three children were placed in a Polish orphanage.
In 1946 the children were repatriated to Poland.
From Poland they were brought to Germany ( Lindenfels and Blankenese) and then finally to Eretz Israel.

Her son Kalman wrote that his maternal grandparents were Meir and Keile Rosenberg.

THE MATERNAL GRANDPARENTS EISENBERG
Kalman Brawer wrote that hismaternal grandparents were Meir and Keile Eisenberg.
The grandparents were probably born around 1865 - 1875 and lived in ul. Gesia in Warszawa.
Could the grandfather be "EISENBERG M.A., skl.tow. manufakt., ul. Gesia 10 " listed in the Warszawa telephone register, just before the war?
Did any relatives commemorate the Eisenberg grandparents on Pages of Testimony at Yad Vashem?
Who will make a list of potential Eisenberg grandparents from Warszawa, based on Pages of Testimony?

In the list of Warsaw Ghetto Deaths there are several Ajzenberg, but one woman, Jochewet Ajzenberg, born 1869, who died Oct 2nd 1939, and who lived in ul. Gesia 35, could she be the grandmother?

TELEPHONE REGISTER FOR WARSAW 1938/1939
This register is online through the Library of Congress, but Logan Kleinwaks has made a search engine that enable us to search for specific names in the scanned images.
In this case I looked for Ajzenberg and Eisenberg families who lived in ul. Gesia and found the following:

AMERICAN RELATIVES
The children remember parcels with used clothes coming from the States.
Who were these relatives?
Were they from the Braver family or from the Eisenberg family?
One possibility, at least in theory:
In 1903 a man named Abraham Braver born ca 1883 emigrated from Jaroslaw to the States.
Jaroslaw is in south east Poland.
Could "our" Abram born ca 1932 and this Abraham born 50 years earlier be named after the same ancestor?

IS ELIASZ EISENBERG FROM UL. GESIA 8 A RELATIVE?
As already told a telephone listing from just before the war shows EISENBERG Eliasz, ul. Gesia 8
Rechecking the Pages of Testimony, a Page of Testimony for a person named Eliasz Eisenberg was submitted in 2005.
According to this Page Eliasz Eisenberg was an engineer, born in 1906 in Sandomierz and married to Christina ( Krystyna?) . His parents were Nuchim Abram Eisenberg and Estera Mindla nee Levine (Levin?).
We will continue to learn more about this Eisenberg family and contact the submitter of the Page of Testimony.
